Let's get out of the city and cycle through the peaceful Siem Reap countryside for a change of scenery. On this one-day adventure, we will cycle through the jungle, past rice paddies and experience the rich culture of Cambodia visiting a local pagoda and meeting with friendly villagers!
Itinerary
07:30
Meet up at hotel lobby (in Siem Reap area)
08:00
You will meet our guide early morning at our office and be fitted with a mountain bike. Then the ride begins! We will start to escape the busy roads and cycle down the narrow dirt tracks, heading west.
09:30
The first stop is the Buddhist temple, where you can spend time admiring the features and understand its significance to the community. You will explore the area, be taking in the incense, the elaborate scenery of the temple.
10:30
You will continue to ride to visit Khmer noodle making and bamboo sticky rice cake at the local traditional houses. Make sure to try the local snacks!
11:30
The next stop will be West Baray. At noon, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, providing the opportunity to try the delicious Cambodian cuisine.

Take a short break after having lunch.
13:30
After this relaxing setting, we will start to head back, riding through more villages. This time, we will stop to learn about basket weaving which is a unique handicraft in the villages.

Lastly, we will end up at a local rice wine distillery, where you can taste different rice wine infusions and learn its story.

You can expect to return back to town around 4 pm.

This adventure incorporates a bit of everything, from stunning views of the landscape, exploring historic sites to understanding the local way of life. This tour rides out into the villages outside of Siem Reap town, along with off the beaten tracks.

Amazing tour with a passionated guide, thank you Vong!
A wonderful bicycle trip in the countryside all around Siem Reap. No tourist at all: we can really feel here the soul of Cambodia. Time stopped, we drive through Rice Field on perfect roads for bike. You can see how people really live, their beautiful houses in the middle of a wonderful setting and the beautiful nature around. We loved our guide Vong: he loves his country and his people so much and he shares his passion greatly. We even join a party hosted by local and danced with them. This is what travel are made for: discovery, exchange, meeting the local community. I will do it again and highly recommend to all my friend travelling here! Thank you for everything!

Great cycling tour Siem Raep local village
Great tour, good bikes and very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, we did local tour and they shortened it a bit for kids, one of best things done in Siem Raep. Excellent, good value for money.
