Itinerary

Meet up at hotel lobby (in Bangkok area)

10:00

Shopping at Chatuchak market, the largest weekend market. You'll have a chance to choose what you want to donate or create your own show. Here, you can also enjoy endless shops from local food, handmade products and even second-hands! You will get to see the real vibe of how Thais shop.

13:00

Come to my house and cook Thai local food together. We'll have lunch here and make Thai local sweet dessert for giving to the disabled.

15:00

We will meet the disabled at the local association to give Thai sweet dessert to them. Then we will enjoy the moment with them (you can sing, dance or talk with them)

Next, leave the association and take a the paddle boat along the canal to see real local life of Thai people around my neighborhood.

18:00

Safely send you back to BTS station.

Transportation fares are included.

It is a trip you will visit the popular market. You will experience the local life of Thai people living nearby the canal. You will learn to cook Thai food with me (I'm an expert of Thai cooking). Also, you will be impressed on how to make the people with disabilities happy. In return, this will make you feel happy too.

Mia was very friendly and helpful. My wife had an injured knee and Mia did everything to help and comfort her. Mia and her husband were excellent team. The itinerary was well organized and informative. After Ayutthaya, we went Mia’s uncle house. She prepared 3 different dishes for us and they were all delicious. Seeing the local life, shrimp and rice farms was very interesting. We highly recommend Mia and her tour.

Shrimp Farm Visit & Tom Yum Kung Cooking

The tour, originally booked for just the shrimp farm took us also to Luang Po U-Thong temple with its vast Buddha statue carved from a cliff (must see!) and Wat Phai Rong Rua, both in Suphanburi Province north of Bangkok. Learning about shrimp farming, cooking Tom Yum Goong and spending time with Mai, who is a wonderful, warmhearted and friendly host at her family‘s farm was a great experience.

Many thanks to Mai, her family and her husband who did all the driving!

We had a wonderful day and hope to see you again.
