Meet up at BTS Station (Chong Nonsi)
Look! the train is coming. This is the good to take lots of photos. This unusual scene is completely normal for the locals. Just check out how casual each vendor pack away their goods as if nothing happened. Then take a walk on the track. And walk in one of the largest seafood market in Thailand.
Head to Wat Bang Kung, an ancient temple in Samut Songkhram, Thailand, built during the Ayutthaya period. It was the site of the Battle of Bang Kung, between the Konbaung dynasty and the Thonburi Kingdom. The temple is covered with various roots, which help support the ubosot. Inside, there is a statue of Buddha and a mural depicting the story of his life. The Fine Arts Department registered Wat Bang Kung as a national archaeological site on 18 December 1996

The whole trip was amazing. From our hotel pick up with Wee and her Husband Ake, they were both nothing but polite, friendly and efficent. Our tour around the incredible Ayuttaya sites were perfectly picked to show us the history and culture. Information was well delivered, not too much information to forgot and well translated. We booked on Sunday 13th Oct which ended up being Kings Memerioal day which lead to most places to eat lunch closed. Wee cooked us in home cooked traditional Chinese lunch, wonderful purple rice and soya dish with fresh veggies and soup on the side. Better than a restaurant. Thank you Wee and would highly recommend.

Wee was a great host. She was very accomodation - especially as we were 45 minutes late because we went to the wrong train station! the food was delicious and she was delightful to spend time with.
