Take a long-tail boat trip along the canal. The trip lasts about 90 minutes and there are a lot to see along the way. There are interesting stops like a local temple and an orchid farm.

Try different local food and snacks and buy some souvenirs at Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market.

A 'must go' weekend floating market. Love the fact that this floating market is not commercialized, and less touristy. There are so many Thai food/snacks with reasonable prices you can try over there.

You can hardly see foreign travelers there. That means you can enjoy the real local vibe. And, since you are with me, there is no possibility of you getting ripped off like other famous/ touristy floating markets.

Khlong Lad Mayom is one of the most authentic/ oldest floating markets in town; the place with its charming sight and the people with their local liveliness and kindness. You will love it!

We really enjoyed this trip! Door to door pick up from our hotel straight to the market. We then toured all the stalls and ate some of the best food we’ve eaten all trip. Only a small portion of the market is “floating” but the food options are endless and it’s not too busy. The boat ride is a nice and relaxing way to break up the day too. Highly recommend for a Bangkok activity.

Bodeesorn was an excellent host, very friendly and a calming nature to him which made everything very comfortable and stress free, car was very comfortable, arrived early to collect us from the hotel and let us finish our coffees and tea first, the tour had a local feel and personal, we stopped at the food market to eat local street food, Bodeesorn’s favorites are highly recommended 👌 we then took a long boat trip through the rivers to see another local market and an impressive and serene temple, no one was at the temple and it felt very hidden from tourists, hidden treasure, we then went past an orchid farm but they were not flowering unfortunately, next time 😉 we then walked along the floating market stalls, it’s not like the markets in Hua Hin where you sail right past the stalls at water level but unique none the less, it was a very hot day so grateful actually we were not stuck on the boat in traffic haha, 10/10 thanks Bodee!!
