Relax at the Beach & Taste Local Food in Hua Hin

Unique Outing

This outing started with a long drive from Bangkok to Phetchaburi with a relaxing visit at the Phra Ram Ratchaniwet Palace. This historic site goes back to the days of King Chulalongkorn the Great (Rama V) that was built for the rainy season as retreat. Experiencing history up close and personal is like nothing you can imagine.

Wat huay Mongkol was a temple with a giant Buddhist statue. It is something that a person can’t imagine. The pictures can’t do no justice. A must see for those who haven’t seen what a big statue looks like.

Hua Hin Train Station is a place that connects Thai and visitors alike that was built in 1910. A place painted with beautiful colors to brighten up any person’s. Sections that are closed off specifically for the king, royalty, and common people. History up close and personal.

Hua Hin public beach was nice and sunny place to visit for a short time. Amphoe Cha-am had a great sit-in Thai restaurant where we ate lunch near the beach to enjoy the ocean breeze.

A stop over to the 1000 Sook Food and Farm was treat to sample different Thai snacks with many different flavors. It is great for those who have a sweet tooth.

Last but not least a trip to the Amphawa floating market made this a complete trip. It had a lot of street vendors full of food, drinks and souvenirs.
